What is the most important thing you gained from this experience? Why?
The most important thing that I have learned from this experience is how to have better communication skills. I seek to pursue a career in psychology and I feel that this was the last push that I need to be one hundred percent sure about what I wanted to do with my life. I was very lucky to be able to mentor two amazing little girls that have let me into their lives.

How has what you’ve done helped you to answer your EQ?  Please explain.
During mentorship, I would struggle trying to get my mentees to talk to me at times. There were days that they did not ant to talk at all and I was not able to know what was wrong with them. At a point, once we started seeing each other often, I started to get to know them better and was able to encourage them to share their feelings. This helped me out by making me realize that what someone needs, is someone to be able to communicate with.
